We are Andy and Sarah, a husband and wife team based in the Vale Of Glamorgan, who are dedicated to helping you be as independent as possible. We have three grown up girls, one of whom has a severe learning disability, and we know personally how hard it can be to find someone you trust to look after your loved ones.
We made the decision to set up Sweet Pea Home Help as we know first hand how difficult it can be to access the right support. Following the sad loss of Sarah’s mum in 2017 we struggled to obtain the extra support her Dad needed as we could not be there everyday.
And if you were wondering why we are called Sweet Pea, it was Sarah’s Mum’s favourite flower.

Due to a recent illness there are times when my brain just stops working properly. An example of this occurred last week when I went to use my microwave and didn’t have a clue which buttons to press. A phone call for help from Andy who arrived promptly. He got me to write down the sequence of operation which I can refer to when I get stuck. I am always treated with respect and know I can count on their help, however minor my problem, either over the phone or by a home visit.
